The Academic Committee operates as a strategic extension of the college administration, dedicated to cultivating a holistic and industry-aligned academic experience for every student at NMIMS Bangalore. Group Discussions

We conduct structured Group Discussion sessions in simulated corporate environments, with experienced judges providing personalised, performance-based feedback. These sessions are specifically designed to strengthen communication, critical thinking, and articulation skills, ensuring students are well-prepared for their Summer Internship Programme (SIP) placement interviews.

Live Projects

We facilitate real-time industry collaborations that enable students to work on live business challenges in parallel with their academic coursework. This initiative bridges the gap between classroom learning and corporate practice, giving students meaningful professional exposure before they formally enter the workforce.

SIP Preparation

We offer a comprehensive SIP readiness programme comprising up-to-date specialisation dossiers, multiple rounds of Group Discussions in corporate-simulated settings, and personalised interview coaching. Our objective is to equip every student with the confidence, knowledge, and professional acumen required to excel in their internship selection processes.

Plan Pursuit 2.0

We organise Plan Pursuit 2.0, an inter-collegiate case competition that draws participants from institutions across the country, providing a national platform for students to demonstrate their business strategy and analytical capabilities. In addition, we curate and float targeted case competitions exclusively for NMIMS Bangalore students to sharpen their problem-solving skills.

Professional Development

Beyond academics and competitions, we guide students on leveraging LinkedIn as a professional digital identity and facilitate SEBI-certified, 16-day NISM certification programmes. These initiatives collectively support the transformation of students into well-rounded, market-ready young professionals.
