We are honoured to share that Dr. Narayani Ramachandran Ramachandran, Campus Director – NMIMS Bengaluru, served as a Session Chair at the International Conference on Bharatiya Management, held on 22 December 2025 at Chanakya University, Bengaluru. She chaired the track on Bharatiya Leadership, Ethics & Decision-Making, offering academic guidance and reflective insights during the paper presentations, in line with the Bharatiya knowledge tradition. Her participation reflects NMIMS Bengaluru’s continued engagement with meaningful academic discourse and thought leadership.

Our Campus Director, Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, recently took part in the event "Manthan: Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems in Contemporary Higher Education." The session also included insights from Prof. Dr. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE.

Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Director, Bengaluru campus, participated as a distinguished panelist at the FPSB India Summit 2.0 held on Monday, 7 April 2025, at the Nalanda Auditorium, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. The summit, themed ‘Empowering the New Bharat through Financial Education as the Key to Entrepreneurship & Employability’, brought together leaders from academia, industry, and policymaking. Dr. Ramachandran contributed valuable insights during the panel discussion on ‘The Evolving Landscape of Financial Planning Education’. The session highlighted the role of education in fostering financial empowerment and sustainable development.


Rotary Bangalore Health City proudly presented the Achievement Award to Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Director of NMIMS Bengaluru Campus, in recognition of her outstanding social contributions. The Common Purpose Program, held from 9th to 11th June 2025 at NMIMS Bengaluru campus, brought together students from the University of Liverpool and NMIMS for a dynamic cross-cultural experience. Through industry visits, expert-led sessions, and leadership modules, participants explored global perspectives and honed their leadership skills. The program fosters collaboration, creativity, and personal growth. It successfully achieved its goal of nurturing globally minded future leaders.

SVKM’s NMIMS, Bengaluru campus, hosted its Undergraduate Convocation Ceremony on 23rd August 2025, celebrating the achievements of the graduating class of 2025. The event commenced with a warm welcome note delivered by Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, Pro Vice Chancellor, setting a thoughtful and encouraging tone for the proceedings. Her presence further highlighted the university’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence and principled leadership. The Chief Guest, Mr. Bhaskar Dutt, Global Head – Strategic Relations, Tata Elxsi, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of innovation, adaptability, and purpose in navigating today’s dynamic world. The ceremony was further graced by the presence of Shri Shailesh Patel and Dr. Tanmoy Chakraborty, Registrar. Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Director of the Bengaluru campus, presented the Annual Report and extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students. Degrees were conferred upon 350 students, with a gender ratio of 51.45% female and 48.55% male. The ceremony concluded with the Graduation and Sustainability Oaths, underscoring NMIMS’s ongoing commitment to nurturing ethical, responsible, and future-ready professionals.

SVKM’s NMIMS, Bengaluru, hosted its Convocation Ceremony for the School of Law on 22nd August 2025, celebrating the graduating class of 2025. SVKM's NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM), Bengaluru campus, celebrated its 16th Convocation Ceremony on April 19, 2025, where 158 MBA students were conferred degrees, reflecting a commendable gender balance with 59% male and 41% female graduates. Several distinguished guests, including Shri Shridhar Venkat, CEO of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, graced the ceremony. Joining him on stage were Shri Shailesh Patel, Nominee of the Chancellor; Dr. Meena Chintamaneni, Pro Vice Chancellor and Nominee of the Honourable Vice Chancellor; Dr. Tanmoy Chakraborty, Registrar; and Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Director of the Bengaluru Campus. At NMIMS Bengaluru, we continue to nurture the next generation of leaders who embody empathy, ethics, and innovation. Vitta Vibhava (UG Finance and Investment Cell) of SVKM’s Nmims Bangalore, in collaboration with FPSB India (Financial Planning Standards Board), successfully hosted FinQuest — a national-level online finance quiz organized as part of World Financial Planning Day and Global Investors Week.The initiative aimed to promote financial literacy and financial planning among youngsters, specifically targeting students of grades 11 and 12 from across the country. We are delighted to share that over 30 schools from all over India participated in the competition.


"Dekh Le! India” — an inspiring documentary screening hosted by Lakshya – The Sports Arm of NMIMS Bengaluru. The film celebrated the incredible journey of India’s Blind Women’s Cricket Team and their historic win at the 2023 World Games — a story of courage, teamwork, and breaking barriers!A heartfelt session with filmmaker Mr. Mukund Moorthy reminded us to chase our passions beyond limits and believe in the power of dreams. An evening that inspired us to see beyond sight and celebrate inclusion in every form.


NMIMS Bangalore marked National Librarians’ Day with a floral tribute to Padmashree Dr. S. R. Ranganathan in the presence of Dr. Narayani Ramachandran (Director), faculty, and staff. The highlight was an Inter-College Book Review Competition featuring 16 participants from MBA, BBA, B.Sc. Finance, B.Sc. Economics, and SOL programmes, witnessed by over 250 first-year MBA students. Dr. Narayani Ramachandran inaugurated the event with an inspiring address on reading and writing habits. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Mr. Vasantha D, Senior Assistant Librarian.

The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed globally on 26th June, aims to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. NMIMS Bengaluru marked this important day by organizing an awareness session in association with Bannerghatta Police Station and with valuable contributions from the CADABAM’S Rehabilitation Center, Bengaluru.


To commemorate the global celebration of health, wellness, and mindfulness, NMIMS Bengaluru observed the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 21st June 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Sports in collaboration with the Lakshya Sports Committee. This annual initiative aims to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga and promote a healthy lifestyle among students, faculty, and staff.

NMIMS Bengaluru campus celebrated Intellectual Property Rights Day on 26 April 2025 with an insightful session organised by the School of Law. Guest speaker Ms. Deepali B Nayak shared expert views on key IP topics, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and the impact on & integration of AI into IPR. Campus Director and Faculty members shared their patent work - Dr. Narayani Ramachandran, Director, NMIMS Bengaluru, on "Implementing Financial Incentives to Improve Employee Performance,” Dr. Kavitha Desai on "Retail Merchandising Aided by Shop Display Systems” and "Device for Analysis of Market Communication in Tourism” and Dr. Revathy M on "A System and Method for Providing Cyber/Network Security based on Advanced Machine Learning Centre.” The session was informative and engaging, highlighting IP’s growing relevance in today’s digital age.

Solaris 2.0, the annual flagship event of NMIMS Bengaluru School of Law, was held on March 20th-21st, 2025, with over 200 students from top universities across India. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Narayana Gowda, former Cabinet Minister of Karnataka, as the Chief Guest. The fest featured four prestigious events, including the 2nd Justice C.K. Thakker Moot and Mediation Competition, Scriptivox, Crime Scene Investigation, and Jashn-e-Junoon.
