Greetings from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Bengaluru! NMIMS started its journey in the city of Bengaluru with the launch of its Business Management Program in November 2008.
Over the past 15 years, our campus at Bannerghatta has grown into a full-fledged one with state-of-the-art facilities. Looking ahead, our current student population of over 1,700 is likely to cross over 3,000 by 2025. We have stellar placement record since inception. Our students get the opportunity to work on Live Projects and the campus has various International Affiliations that conduct enlightening workshops for the students and provide them with work opportunities.
NMIMS Bengaluru was awarded a rating of A+++ by Business India Magazine. Business Today Magazine ranked NMIMS Bengaluru second in the city-wise category, seventh in the south-zone category and 16th among private B-schools. India Today Magazine ranked SBM, NMIMS Bengaluru as the 2nd in the 'City-wise' category and 5th in the 'South-zone' category awarding it an overall Private B-School rank of 16. Fortune India and Open Magazine placed it as 2nd in the 'City-wise' category, and 8th in the 'South-zone' category. NMIMS Bengaluru Rank 10th B-School in South India and Rank 16th in Private University by Times B School 2024. The Institute of Institutional Rankings (IIRF) positioned NMIMS as the 13th in the 'South-Zone' category and 5th spot in the 'State-wise' ranking.
The campus is home to four schools: School of Business Management, School of Commerce, School of Economics, and School of Law. The School of Business Management focuses on nurturing a scientific spirit of inquiry among students and, through value-based education, shapes them into leaders and responsible citizens who will become change-makers in society. Our MBA program, now is in its 15th year, offers specializations in Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR, and Analytics. We also provide a variety of undergraduate programs including B.Sc. Finance, B.Sc. Economics, B.B.A., B.Com (Hons), B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons).
Our graduates go through an experiential learning process through simulation and many of them take on leadership roles or start successful businesses. Our well established finance lab is equipped with Bloomberg Terminals. We offer value-added workshops and symposiums, engaging international students with a focus on the ESG framework and agenda.
Our multidisciplinary campus is supported by a diverse group of faculty members with expertise in teaching, research, and consulting. The quality of our faculty and students form the foundation of our nationally and internationally renowned institution.
