Insignia is the official Alumni Committee of NMIMS Bengaluru, dedicated to building and nurturing a strong, lifelong connection between the institute and its alumni community.
With a growing network of 2000+ alumni across 15+ PGDM, MBA, and MPE batches, Insignia serves as a bridge between past and present enabling meaningful engagement, knowledge exchange, and collaborative growth.

Our Flagship Initiatives
Margdarsh
Margdarsh is designed to guide first-year students as they begin exploring their career paths and specialization choices. Through this initiative, alumni from diverse domains interact with students and share practical insights about their industries.
It helps students understand role expectations, career trajectories and required skill sets, enabling them to make well-informed decisions regarding their majors and minors. The interactive format encourages open discussions, allowing students to clarify doubts and gain direction early in their journey. It is a platform where students can interact, ask questions, and make informed academic and career decisions.
Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP)
The Alumni Mentorship Program connects students with experienced alumni for personalized guidance and support. Each mentor works closely with a small group of mentees, offering insights tailored to their specialization and career goals.
The program focuses on resume building, career clarity, and preparation strategies through structured interactions.
It ensures students receive practical advice and mentorship from individuals who have successfully navigated similar paths.
Mock Interview Series (MI)
The Mock Interview Series prepares final-year students for placements through realistic interview simulations conducted by alumni. These sessions replicate actual interview scenarios, helping students understand expectations and improve their approach. This initiative enables students to refine their skills and approach placements with greater preparedness and confidence.
Guest Lectures & Workshops
Regular sessions conducted by alumni to bridge the gap between academia and industry. These sessions help students:

Insignia regularly organizes guest lectures and workshops featuring alumni across various industries and roles. These sessions provide students with insights into current industry trends, expectations and real-world challenges.
Guest Lectures serve as a platform for experiential learning, bridging the gap between academic concepts and practical application. Students benefit from exposure to diverse perspectives, helping them stay aligned with evolving industry demands.
Grand Alumni Meet
The Grand Alumni Meet is Insignia’s flagship event that brings alumni back to campus to reconnect with their roots. It provides an opportunity to revisit memories, engage with faculty and interact with fellow alumni across batches.
The event fosters a sense of belonging and strengthens the bond between alumni and the institution. It also serves as a celebration of the collective journey and achievements of the NMIMS Bengaluru community. It acknowledges the journey of every alumnus while reinforcing their bond with NMIMS Bengaluru.
