STUDENT COUNCIL, NMIMS Bangalore

The members of Student Council are elected every year for the smooth functioning of the various programs. They take up specific duties in organising various programmes and maintaining discipline.

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  The Student Council serves as an umbrella body for all clubs and committees of the college ensuring their seamless operation at all times. Aside from serving as a liaison between students and administration, the Student Council integrally being responsible for college’s brand promotion, work tirelessly to make the student experience on campus comfortable and enriching.

The Council is responsible for ensuring that all events, activities, and interactions on campus are done in accordance with the university's culture and traditions. And it also supports all organisations and committees on campus with their operations and other activities.

• Mission:
  To foster students' academic, professional, and personal development in order to attain total excellence.

• Events Undertaken:
  Organising and coordinating orientation programmes for various clubs and committees.
