Synergy - The Strategy & Consulting Club of NMIMS Bengaluru exists to bridge the gap between academic theory and the sharp, structured thinking demanded by the world's foremost consulting and strategy practices. We equip students with the frameworks, acumen, and professional confidence to compete at the highest levels of the industry.
As a club, Synergy is a launchpad for its members to identify, develop, and demonstrate the competencies that distinguish exceptional consultants: structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven thinking, client-ready communication, and the intellectual curiosity to question assumptions. Our activities span knowledge-building workshops, competitive case events, peer learning forums, and thought leadership publications - creating a holistic ecosystem for consulting excellence within the campus.

Flagship Case Competitions: Multi-round, high-stakes events that simulate real consulting engagements - testing analytical rigour, structured presentation, and teamwork under strict time pressure, mirroring the intensity of live consulting scenarios.
Synergy Compendium: A structured reference publication covering consulting frameworks, case archetypes, sector primers, and guesstimate approaches - the definitive consulting preparation companion for members of NMIMS Bengaluru. (Inaugural edition in development.)

Academic Year 2024–25 — Activities & Milestones
Carving Your Path to Management Consulting — Industry Panel Discussion: Synergy convened a virtual panel featuring seasoned consulting professionals - Praveg Maheshwari, Rajat Garg, and Rangolie Jaiswal - to demystify the consulting career trajectory for our members. The session delivered a masterclass in consulting frameworks, interview strategy, and the professional mindsets that separate good candidates from exceptional ones. Speakers drew from firsthand experience across top-tier firms, offering attendees an unfiltered view into the realities of the profession. An interactive Q&A and case discussion segment closed the session, with participants leaving better equipped to navigate their consulting journey with clarity and confidence.
G.O.A.T — Geniuses On A Timer: Synergy's flagship inter-team competition pushed participants to their strategic and cognitive limits through a progressive three-round format. Round One - a time-bound Consulting Frameworks Quiz - stress-tested conceptual depth and speed, shortlisting the top 10 teams from 20 competing. Round Two elevated the challenge with a Situation-Based Presentation, requiring teams to diagnose complex business scenarios and deliver structured, client-ready recommendations. Round Three, the Room Challenge, combined analytical thinking with real-time adaptability in a high-energy, multi-task format unlike any conventional competition. The event mirrored the intensity and ambiguity of live consulting engagements, drawing widespread appreciation for its originality and design.
Academic Year 2025–26 — Looking Ahead
Building on a strong foundation, Synergy enters 2025–26 with an expanded agenda: three flagship events designed to challenge different dimensions of strategic and consulting competence; a curated industry panel discussion bringing senior practitioners to campus; and the inaugural edition of the Synergy Compendium - a comprehensive consulting preparation publication curated by the members.
