Thiruppathi P is a Political Science scholar and researcher with expertise in political communication, welfare governance, public policy, and Dravidian politics in Tamil Nadu. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Institute for Social and Economic Change under the Centre for Political Institutions, Governance, and Development. His doctoral research focuses on political communication, populism, and welfare narratives of Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu.

He has served as Visiting Faculty at institutions including B.M.S. College for Women and Our Lady of Bon Secour Degree College, teaching courses related to Political Science and Constitutional Values. His research interests include democratic participation, electoral politics, social inclusion, public policy, and welfare governance.

Thiruppathi has presented papers at several international conferences organised by the International Political Science Association and other global academic forums across South Korea, Argentina, Austria, and Poland. He has published research articles and book chapters in reputed journals and edited volumes focusing on political communication, populism, and social justice.
